Cree was just making sure that he was safe.

The Crazies!

Down the block, across the street,
there is a discarded Christmas tree
wrapped in a plastic bag.
It is unknown and needs to be scared away.
Sometimes the wind moves the plastic
or the sun shines on the tinsel
or the moon is in a new phase and
we have to bark and bark and bark at the
thing that has been there all week.
We are crazy!

Fur babies

I was just walking and the camera turned on, so I just let it keep going.

Kelly has the straighter fur and Bandit has the wavy fur.

And now I see how sad my deck looks. Oh, well.

We are fostering Kelly. He was part of the Oklahoma Rescue 2009 in Oklahoma. You can read about it here.








He is relaxing. He is learning about his reflection in the door, the screens in the windows and the noises from the neighbors. He is curious but cautious. He has started wagging his tail and scampering in the yard. Hasn't chased a ball yet, but he is watching carefully.
