Not much new stuff is going on here. I went with my mom and dad to watch Abbey play soccer this weekend. She was wonderful of course (and very colorful with her pink headband and lime green shoes!)
OH! I got a new job today! I got replaced at my nanny job while I was student teaching. My new job starts next wednesday, I'll be working at the YMCA in Blair at the before and after school program for kids. So, it should be fun!

I just picked up a fused glass coaster that I made yesterday. We cut the glass and placed it where we wanted it and then it went in a kiln for several hours. I wish I had taken a 'before' picture, too. Mine is the one on the left and my friend, Karen, made the one on the right. We had so much fun that we are going back soon!!We were at a new place called The Studio and you can take classes or use their tools and pay for studio-time and supplies. They have gourds to decorate, stained glass, fused glass, jewelry, textiles, and more. Their website is www.studio-rush.com
