I've been going to the Studio!

Just in case you don't look at pictures that are farther down this page, I want you to know that the picture of Joe and Laura that showed them sideways has been up righted!

This wonderful dragonfly is glass 'dragon's tears' that I wrapped in lead and then soldered to each other and then added the wings. Pam and I were at the Studio for only two hours and the dragonflies only cost $6. We had a great time!

This pot is called hypertufa. You can find more info at this link.
I took this class with Vicki and a few other fun people.

We mixed up 'mud' and formed it in molds and decorated the top edges. The 'mud' was Portland cement, sand and peat moss. Stirring that stuff was the hard part ;-)

Here are some pots that were finished and planted.

These are the pots that they used to lure us to the class.
I can't wait for my pot to cure so I can plant things in it.
I just might have to wait for the temperature to come up a bit.
