We enjoyed the last fine day!

We wanted to check out the last of the color.
I don't think there will be much left by next weekend.
So we headed over to the local nature preserve.
Autumn in the prairie!
Last week the grasses where yellow and now they are a warm golden shade.
You can see the trees in the background.
Some are already bare, but some are still bright colors.
We took the Tram ride.
We rode through the hills for over an hour.
It was wonderful, but not a good way to take pictures.
Just not smooth!
More color!
A lot of the maples were bare, but the bronze color is from the oaks.
See how blurry it is from the Tram?
This is the lone Red Oak on the Prairie.

We also assisted in the making of apple cider. It was a fun time.
