We return from paradise!

Lon was asked to be in our friend Steve's wedding and Grandma QoE agreed to nearly a week of Grandma days so Lon and I took off for Charleston, South Carolina. It was the first time, since we have had kids, that we have been gone for more than two days. We missed the kids, but it was paradise! We can't wait to go back, and to take the kids with us this time! :-)

This was the view from our boardwalk, which was less than a minute walk from our villa. Note, the tide is low in this picture.

On our last day we watched the sunrise. You will note that the tide is not as low this day!

We did manage to do a little sightseeing. These pictures are from the Cypress Gardens. The first picture is of the swamp. The second one is a picture of the only male crocodile in the swamp (and yes, he visits all of the female crocodiles!).

Oh, and pictures of the wedding....the reason we went on the trip! :-)
